This policy explains how FlashReady (flashready.in), run by DVM Techno, India, handles personal data. It is written for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). In short: you can use the whole site without giving us any personal data. We use Google Analytics to count visits, and no advertising scripts.
Who we are
DVM Techno is the Data Fiduciary for personal data you send us through this site. You can reach us at dvmtechno@gmail.com or through the contact page.
What we collect
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You browse the site | Our hosting provider's servers keep standard access logs (IP address, time, page, browser) for security. | Keeping the site running and safe |
| You browse the site | Google Analytics 4 records the pages you visit, roughly where you are (city level), your device and browser type, and how you arrived. It sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*). | Counting visits and seeing which pages help people, so we know what to improve |
| You use the contact or hire form | Name, email, optional phone, project details and message | Replying to you |
| You use the browser flasher | Nothing. The USB connection stays between your browser and your board; firmware is downloaded from our site. | — |
Google Analytics is the only third-party script on the site; we use no advertising or social-media tracking scripts. Google processes this data under its own policies (how Google uses data from sites that use its services). To opt out, block cookies for this site in your browser, use a content blocker, or install Google'sAnalytics opt-out add-on. Everything on the site keeps working when you do.
Stored only in your browser
Some settings are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them: your theme (light or dark), the “reduce animations” switch, and Playground projects you save. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.
How we use data
We use contact-form data only to answer your message and, if you ask for it, to prepare a quote. We rely on your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Sharing
Form messages are delivered by email through our hosting provider. Visit statistics are processed by Google (Google Analytics). We don't share personal data with anyone else, except where Indian law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to deal with your request, and delete them within 24 months of our last exchange unless you become a client (then contract and tax rules apply). Server access logs are kept by the host for a limited period.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- Correct or update it;
- Erase it, or withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect anything done before you withdrew);
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you;
- Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you're not satisfied.
Email dvmtechno@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
The site is free to read for learners of all ages. Our forms are meant for adults; if you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. We don't knowingly collect children's personal data.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Form submissions are rate-limited and checked on our server, and only the people who answer messages can read them.
Grievance Officer
Grievance Officer, DVM Techno — dvmtechno@gmail.com. We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we start collecting anything new — for example optional accounts for saving Playground projects to the cloud — we'll update this page first and, where needed, ask for your consent before collecting it.
